My son has a 93 mustang that just started to stall out the other day. My wife drove it 3 miles to pick him up and on her way back it just died. She tried to start it repeatedly and nothing. And then it fired up magically. She made it about a 1/2 mile and it did it again. she tried to start it repeatedly and nothing. A few minutes later it fired up and she got it home. Anyone know what could be causing this? Its a 2.3L automatic.

Sounds like a TFI issue to me.

My 93 was doing that steve, I would be driving along and it would die and then after a few seconds it would kick back on. Or sometimes it would not start but after a while it would..It just straded me last night so I replaced the ignition module on the distributor and that fixed it...
