The wife and I's horse and mule made the Channel 9 website. They said was going to be aired, still might, but as of now it has not.

Is so great that Tracy and Steve are helping us out by taking care of our boys!

One family lost 15 horses, only a foal survived.

Lets just say just chunks were found.

I think that is the dumbest comment I have ever heard.

Tim, it is what the owner stated when I met her at one of my pick up points, Park Hills AH.

You hear so much about the human lives lost, but rarely about the other creatures that perish. If you got out to help clean up, one needs to know so it won't be so shocking.

The amount of help in the past week due to the storms, I still have some faith in our society.

Sorry to hear about the loss of them. I think all of our friends learned a big lesson from this. Most of our friends would have left their horses/cattle in. The neighbor had some cattle in a barn. We the ones in the barn are dead. I know for a fact, if ours would have been in the barn, in their stalls, they would not be here now. It is better to let them in the field to fight for themselves, they are smart animals, they will find a place to hide.

Also if you come out to help, all the dead animals have been taken care of, everywhere. Most are in deep holes on the property. If they were still around, we would have disease spreading like wildfire from them.
