Just picked this up last night its a 99 Gt 5spd with a 5.4 swap, its got new black paint, mach 1 chin spoiler, 5in ho hood, spec clutch, smoked tail lights, lowered on springs of some kind, only bolt ons i can see so far are the c&l cold air intake, xpipe, flowmaster american thunder catback, and a steeda tri ax shifter. This car came from the Cincinatti area so if anyone knows anything about it let me know.

Id trade it off man. Find you a Cobra R style like I had on my green car. Gave tons of room underneath and didnt look all huge from the outside.

Id like to trade it for a Terminator hood if it would clear the motor.

The stock heads and cams are barely adequate for a 4.6L so the added displacement only makes it worse.

so a set of aftermarket heads and cams would really wake it up

Yes. I think the best thing would be a set of TFS heads since they give you more PTV clearence and decent sized cams. Of course the intake would probably be an issue then. Any idea what intake is on there? it looks like it ight be a PI intake with adapter plates.

i like the car man :) engine not so much just my opinion but you would been better to go with a Lincoln 4.6 motor 485hp compared to 435hp of a 5.4, but to his is his own

Check out that intake. It'll really wake the engine up, and it'll clear stock hoods.

It's not about the numbers, it's about torque under the curve.

Honestly. That car was slower than a 4.6 gt. I was very disappointed. It was nice to look at but that's about it.
