So lil while back my little brother bought an 89 cougar SC. Well I ended up giving him a chance to run my fresh built 4.3 stroker. well on 275 I pedaled on him a little bit since he thought he had me, until i laid into it. from 90 to 120 I was a car length ahead of him. Got a little down the road and seen a BMW M3. Suprisingly the old dude driving provoked the race. As we kicked down at a rolling 60.. 90mph i was already a car link on him. at 130 shifted into fifth od gear and was still pulling on him. That was a fn time first race I really had for my car since the new build.23298

early 2k. I know I was actually suprised. Yes it is a v6 car n/a for now (tt coming possibly this summer) and is fuel injected

Idk not trying to take anything away from you but I had a 240 sx with a gt2860 pushing around 260 270 wheel on a much lighter car and I only pulled one length on a m3 50 to 120 what gears u have on that thing!

stock 327 gear... I actually was at test n tune trying to work out the tune on my car. And we were on the highway. But when I was at the track I raced a 240 (s14). and when I was able to get it tuned out I was at the same time as it was. but my engine is built for top end to. my 0-60' was crap. I need more track time and a better rearend to get used to this new engine.

LOL yeah is this before or after you rip people off with tuning costs. Because I was told for having my car tuned at easy streets with a diablosport I was looking at spending an extra 200.00 because the tuner likes to lock up. Ha Ha tell this to diablosport! Oh wait they probably already called your shop!

ha ha... when vendors try ripping you off... You can keep them! Especially when the only thing they can fabricate is about lies about others products. I didn't realize that diablosport was so good the head tuner for MD motorsports went to diablosport instead of easy street!

Adam is one the most respected tuners in the area your seriously wrong here man not many shops use diablosport anymore it's not that it's bad software but the sct stuff is just pretty much the standard shit that everyone uses. It sounds to me like u have a diablosport handheld and Adam didn't wanna tune your car with it for dirt cheap......now your butt hurt and making a sad attempt to shit on him for it. You should probably just take your piss poor attitude and mythical 10sec v6 car over to yellowbullet and stay there. This site doesn't need anymore crybaby assholes.

If I were close I would race him HCI fox on street radials untuned and prolly still walk on him, as for Adam I don't personally know the guy but have talked to him about some issues that I had and he is very respected among most people

Adam is one of the best. Never had an issue and I am proud to have had him tune Redfire. The car made more power and ran better than with a tune done by a big name performance shop not in this area. Not that they were bad, but Adam was able to find that driveability that they were unable to. He took the time and did it right.

Bad mouthing a guy with a great reputation (not to mention his willingness to explain things and share information) and you may find the word on you spreads through the performance industry quickly. Next thing you know you are lucky if you can find a tuner to help you in Nebraska.

BTW - Ken is no longer at Diablo. He tunes for Jon Lund now and has been there for a while.

First off Chris gave you an estimate not a quote. Secondly anyone that has ever tuned an older Mustang with Diablosport will tell you that it takes longer than SCT due to the fact that it will not real time data stream. That means stopping, downloading logs, then viewing. They have changed all of this in the newer vehicles and with the newer programmers. To my knowledge Ken and Dave both logged with SCT when they were tuning Diablosport. No one was trying to rip you off, just giving you a heads up and giving you the reasoning. Call Diablosport and have them call me if you like I have a few things to bitch about. Oh and Ken B left quite some time before MD was sold to Easy Street, roughly 2 years I believe. Tim (Owner) and his family have been great to me and everyone that is employed by Easy Street. Next time, before you blast me in a thread, educate yourself or call me and I will explain things to you. Not all tunes/tuners are created equal, you will get what you pay for. If someone wants to tune your car for a couple hundo I would be skeptical. Can it be done yes but it will also have issues, this is not the kind of work I do. My reputation speaks for itself, look at the majority of the 1000 plus whp cars in the area and ask them who does their tuning. The only thing that smells different about my boosted engine is the $17/gallon fuel it burns, just sayin:cool2:

After reading this tread and coming to the conclusion that Stanger00 is a retard I still have to agree with this post. Adam is the man. I was more than happy with the way my first car he tuned ran and that's why I was only going to let him touch the newest one I bought. I'm extremely pleased with the tune he did on it as well. I won't name names but it was others at easy street that I do not ever want to deal with again. Adam has always been helpful and quick to awnser whatever dumb questions I PM him. I have long tubes coming in for it any day now and hope I can deal directly with Adam once I get them on and in for a retune.
