Have you done anything with the brakes or are they stock? I wouldn't want to slow down 4k pounds down from 150mph with stock brakes.

Personally, I never did. There were the expected seasonal blend changes (E70 in winter, E74 in spring/fall, and full E85 in summer) but I had a tester that I used to test a very small portion of the fuel just in case. I then found that my local Kroger station in Dayton kept full blend summer E85 at their pumps year round. Jeff88coupe found the same at his local Krogers. Now I understand that some others have found this not to be the case. It isn't really that dangerous running a summer blend tune on spring or winter blend E85, you just run rich and lose a bit of the benefits of the ethanol. Now running summer or spring blend on a winter blend tune can cause you to run lean, which can be dangerous.

As long as you keep an eye on things, which isn't hard, it should never be a problem.

BTW, Terry I have my E85 tester laying around if you are interested in picking one up. This is the same model I have. You just put a small sample of E85 into the tester and use a multi-meter to read the output and you are done. Takes all of 30 seconds from start to finish.

ya...and other safety stuff. Anyone make a tranny and flexplate shield for the stock auto yet? Also 3 layer fire jacket & pants/neck collar/gloves, window net. 10.00 to 9.99 gets expensive quick.

We've started on alot of the other stuff, i've got a jacket, gloves, collar, flexplate, flexplate shield
