Im going to do one of two things either A. Sell the car as a whole the way it sits or B. Part it out and sell it as a Roller. I got the thing home from mikes shop and made a few street pulls and the junk turbo took a dump the bearings in it failed and now the impeller is chewed up, fortunately i caught it quick enough and nothing else got hurt. Im Gauging interested to see which way it would go quicker. Alot of you have seen this car it sat at Dayton Performance for almost 6months while I was getting the new combo assembled and ready for Mike to tune. Its a nice clean rust free car with Black interior. Ill Post a parts list and If anyone is interested and wants the car as a whole or wants parts post up what your interested in and Ill pm you a price. Ill get this out of the way now I will not tolerate stupid lowballing and people trying to get shit for nothing. If your not interested in buying anything or dont have anything nice to say please stay out of this thread. Ive got alot of $ in this stuff and a ton of work so I hate to sell it off but Im honestly just burnt completely out and I hate this car with a passion. I would take 7500.00 the way the car sits. It could be easily fixed in an afternoon with a new t4 flanged turbo. If for some reason the motor does turn out to be hurt all you would have to do is pull it and bring me the short block and I will replace the bearings, and rings at no cost.
1990 Mustang LX 5.0 - Original V8 5spd Car, 43xxx miles, title says od discrepency but Im pretty sure its due to the dash being outta the car when I bought it. The car has newer Maroon Paint with very nice black interior, the black tweed front seats have no stains, tears, rips or lean.
Motor- stock shortblock with 39xxx miles from a 92lx coupe. new melling oil pump, pu tube, 1pc oil pan gasket, arp oil pump shaft, and new 1pc rear main seal. Trickflow Twisted Wedge Heads with Lunati 1.7 Roller Rockers, arp head studs, felpro 9333pt-1 head gaskets, stock ho cam, eddy performer rpm intake, prof products 75mm tbody and egr spacer, Ford Racing Polished Alum Valve Covers
Transmission- C4 with reverse manual valve body, kevlar bands, alto clutches, greg hughes out of franklin furnace built the tranny and they are good for at least 600whp Ive seen several of Duke Alley and Charlie Knisleys cars run 9s on this same transmission. The converter is a Redneck 3400. Shifter is a new hurst quarterstick with a pistol grip. the c4 is connected to a frpp alum driveshaft that is almost brand new and has zero track passes. All of the tran stuff is pretty much new with nothing but dyno time and two street pulls and maybe 15-20 street miles.
Rear end- stock 8.8 with 327 gear, stock axles, auburn posi unit, and stock cover.
Rear suspension- UPR upper and lower control arm, stock 99 v6 rear springs, Comp engineering adjustable shocks, rear sway bar removed.
Front Suspension is all stock with no front swaybar.
Wheels and tires- Weld Fat and Skinnys in good shape with new bfg street tires on the rear, Ive also got a set of 275 50 15 MT et street radials that will come with the car or can be sold seperately.
Turbo Kit- on3 performance, on3 38mm wg with 10lb spring, on3 50mm bov, 67mm ceramic ball bearing turbo(bearings are shot and impeller is damaged), the exhaust consists of a 3in downpipe and a 3in dynomax race bullet dumped at the rear end.
Fuel system- FRPP 42lb inj, PMAS blow thru meter, Aeromotive 340lph stealth pump, stock lines, kirban boost referenced fpr.
Interior gauges- Autometer Oil Press, Water Temp, Boost/Vac, Fuel Press, 5in Memory Tach with Shift light.
Trades - Really the only trades Id be interested in would be a 94+Cobra or 99-04 5spd Gt. I do not want anything with a rebuilt title or anything that I have to work on. I May take a nice stockish fox and $ but It would have to be pretty nice. I would also look at 1000cc sportbikes + $ Feel free to PM or call/txt me with any questions or offers 7409416497. Thanks
