I did it about 5 years ago at greensburg IN. I have heard since then that their quality has gone downhill and most of their people went to waynesville... I would recommend waynesville then.

I did quite a few jumps while with Anglico in the USMC. Went to Waynesville a few times after I got out. Haven't been in years cause of my knees. But, Waynesville was a good setup.

I was about 245 or 250 when I jumped tandem..... they didn't have a problem with it. we just fell a lot faster.. lol.
If I remember correctly, they said terminal veloicty was about 115 mph or so, and I think we went about 129 mph.. :D although my numbers might be off a bit...
I believe the weight limit part was so that you fit in the harness... if you are a fit 250 you should be fine...

It depends. Some days you go low altitude static line jumps, and other times HALO (high altitude) over 25,000 feet requiring oxygen.

I wanted to do it like 30 years ago and couldn't get anybody to go along. I wouldn't do it now. I'm too old and figure if something goes wrong, I'd have way too long to think about it on the way down LOL. I had a buddy that did it years ago and he loved it.
Hope you have fun!

Pastrana is a bad dude! There's not much out there he hasn't done. A few years ago we did the indoor skydiving down in Gatlinburg. That's about as close to it as i'll get...no way I'm jumping out of a plane!

I like my red bull but I think I'll keep my feet on the ground. I've never been in an airplane much less jumping out of it. Besides you're putting your life in the hands of whoever packed that chute. But I guess life is about chances and you only go around once. Gl and have fun if you do take the plunge :bigthumb
