does anyone have a 351w sitting in a fox chassis with the stock k member, and it is not hitting the rack and pinion??????????/
i had a canton pan on mine and the pan was hitting the rack,i now have a moroso pan shaped dif.. but have not installed it yet.
what if any solutions are avail. to fix other than a aftermarket k member

Tony, I ran a 351w with a stock k-member but I was using a ford racing swap pan.

X3 on the Ford racing pan, that's what my buddy had on his when we dropped the motor in. Fit like a glove

go with a taller mount or shim yours. Thats how I did it with a 7qt moroso pan

I would keep your pan and either change the motor mounts or move the rack down.

Use urethane mounts or space yours up where the mount meets the block.

mine was fine with prothane mounts, but, when i went to vert mounts the top transfer line was hitting my canton pan. i just used offset rack bushings upside down, that got me the clearance i needed. Dont use a 5quart pan...a good oil pump will drain that thing and starve your motor at high rpm
