I bought this car in the fall of 2010. All it had done to it was a shift kit, 3.73 gears, holey exhaust, and a custom paintjob :D. The 'original' plan was a mild 302 build, keep the aod and use it as a Footbrake car. I couldn't really use my EVO to compete in that class with and I wanted to get in on the mix of things since I was at the dragstrip shooting every weekend anyhow.

This is how he started. Not the prettiest fella in the world, but being my first coupe I thought it was the greatest thing ever!

We invaded our buddies paint booth and finished the original plan in a week. Upgraded the suspension: Lakewood lowers, Steeda uppers, MM subframe connectors, AJE full front suspension. Engine upgrades: Full upper end TFS swap.

After we got it home we did a 5-lug swap and I got some new wheels. Starting to look a little better!

This is where this project was supposed to stop. Then we stumbled across a 347 and a c4 and dove straight into doing that swap. We did this overnight at our house. (Our neighbors just love us)

The best pass in the car was 11.75 @ 114, 1.69 60ft.

I sold this car to my fiance over the fall to buy my '89 Coupe. He's made a few upgrades also and this is how the car currently sits...

Proturbo Kit with a T76. Still has the 347 and c4 in it.

Have a few various ends to tidy up and start tuning on it. Working on plans to fix the awesome paint job. Most likely will be grey or satin black. Fingers crossed, track times coming soon!
