Anyone ever had a clicking clutch cable problem. I went to start my 91 GT today and when I pushed the clutch in it clicked probably 5 or 6 times on its way down. It does not do it when it comes up and the clutch engages normally but sounds like an ebrake clicking when you push it to the floor. I replaced the cable last year with a new OEM style cable. Any ideas what it could be?
Thanks Jeff

Sounds like the clutch quadrant.

If that doesnt cure the issue, it might be a broken strand on the cable catching the inside of the cover.
