Just started the 1st season. Problem is, I'm a big fat pussy and usually can't even handle any scary movies. But alas, Kev is forcing me to desensitize to the zombies. I layed awake an extra 3 hours opening my eyes at every slightest noise while he slept fitfully beside me. :mad: I was even afraid to let an arm or a leg dangle outside the covers, afraid it would make it easier for the zombies to eat me. Ugh.

I think it's weak... the characters are totally unprepared and underarmed. If you were going out into a world like that, would you take off with a .38 revolver as your only defense? It's like the writers aren't even trying.

Not asking to be an ass, but what would you take? Not many ppl I know have an arsenal.

I do have enough guns and ammo to get me to Keith's house though, where the arsenal IS!

Umm.. well, I think I'd take my AMD-65 along with multiple loaded 75 round drums of hollow points. I'd grab a few more standard AK mags as well. I'd also take my VZ58 and about four 30 round mags for that. Then I'd toss at least 1000 spare rounds of ammo in the truck, and load up all the mags before I head out. I'd also grab a shotgun. Plus a hundgun to carry as a last resort.

But hey, that's just me. And most of my friends LOL.

The finale is this Sunday night at 9:00 p.m....from what I've seen it looks like all hell is going to break loose...can't believe they killed off Dale and Shane...freakin main characters...oh well guess that will keep things fresh I hope. For next season they have already expanded it with 4 more episodes taking it up to 16-17 episodes for season three! A little less drama and more action is what I'd like to see but I guess they are trying to cater to a larger audience. Oh...and if I had a milligun, that's what I'd take with me :lol:

That is in case of a zombie attack , theres gonna be a marathon all day sunday if your a newbie to the show like me. Gonna replay the last 10 episodes. Starts at 11 a.m.

No I don't. I got all weekend off baby!!! And...someone says there is a marathon!!!! I say we DVR them all, then go for a bike ride in the afternoon, come home, throw something on the grill and start watching!! :popcorn:

Hence the 75 drum mags. If you have two people, one person can easily reload one drum while the other is shooting. You could keep going until the barrel melts.

Yea, I have some stuff. Nowhere near as much as some poeple I know though. None of my guns are expensive really... most are commie surplus guns. Honestly, I more got a thing for ammo. Buy it cheap, stack it deep. I like having lots of it in original commie sealed crates or tins. Stuff will never go bad and will never get cheaper. You truely only need one gun in a survival situation- but you need lots of ammo.

The finale did not dissapoint, way to end the season, chaos everywhere, blood and guts, you name it, it had it. Can't wait for season three now. Have to wait til October :(

The hooded ninja chick with the two armless walkers on a leash is what threw me. Heard somewhere they were jawless, which would explain why they weren't trying to gnaw on her neck, but still...one would assume they'd try to get at her somehow. Not sure how the prison will play out.

Agreed on how Lori is getting dammed annoying. I was thinking the crazy bitch is bi-polar.

Im thinking that the prison will become their new home. Once cleared and fortified it would be a good place to hunker down. If they could get some solar and wind power There could be indoor greenhouses to grow crops as well as the open yard to graze a small amount of live stock. The possibilities are endless.

So far so good...haven't been dissapointing yet...the third episode was a little slow but I understand that they are introducing the whacko govenor...WELCOME BACK MERLE! He has lost alot of weight since the first season. I think it's going to be an epic showdown between Rick's group and the govenor. We'll see!

I hope they don't devote too much time to that boring ass community. I'd much rather watch Rick continue to evolve into a badass and fight off waves of zombies than to get pissed off at that dickhead insane governor every Sunday.

pretty good this season. I literally skipped the entire last season.... so boring with the other director and Rick being a pussy. Now Rick finally got his cojones back.

I think this is by far the best series on TV. Thanks goodness Dish network brought AMC back.

I am not sure I like where the story line is heading with the Govenor though.
