Im getting ready to build a sra for my 04 Cobra. Im still up in the air about which diff to use. Its putting out about 550 right now and needs a tune then it will be sneaking up on 600. I could probably get by using a stock diff. I have been looking at the tru trac and an E locker. Its street and some strip. My plan is 31 spline axels. Ive been told to put 9" ends on it but I know nothing about that or how to do that. I can cut and weld but Im no pro. So what kind of diffs are you guys using and how are they holding up? Thanks

The years i had my cobra , i ran around a few people that beat the snot out of them at the track and the only thing they did was upgrade the axles... Of course a diff cover.. These cars ran consistant 10s and cut i believe 1.6-1.5 60 ft...
Brad aka BLWN on here had one of the fastest ported small shot nitrous at the time....
Havnt seen him on here in awhile though...

Moser makes nice 31 splines for the 8.8 SRA. I to have looked into the true trac and eaton locker as well. Both seem to be very solid and have a good reputation. Here is a complete package. Good luck.

It says this kit is for 05-12. Will it fit a 99 gt housing?

My bad. Just used to being in the 05-10 section. Here is their link for the edge body setup. Sorry.

These guys are very helpful. Great to talk to, and more than willing to make things right in the rare chance a problem would arise. Tell them Chad from Cincinnati referred you if you go with them. Thanks.
