Never have, never will. Everyone in my family does though and it used to drive me crazy. My wife smokes but she goes outside to do it. There's no way I'd allow it in my house. That shit stinks up the place and gets all over everything.

I don't smoke or drink. I've watched my mother slowly kill herself with smoking my whole life. She's in the early stages of emphysema and she still can't/won't quit. I grew up hearing her bitch about the price and couldn't tell you how many times i heard "it's gonna be $5 a pack soon and i WON'T pay that much" but here we are and she's paying it.

I like to smoke a cigar every once in a while, not those cheap ones that people use to cover up the weed smell, but the nice fancy ones, like you find in jungle jims. Ever since I was little I loved to smell my grandpas old cigar boxs.

Did for 10+ years and quit over a year ago with one month of chantix. It didn't affect me negatively but I have heard horror stories. You have to want to quit too.

I am a reformed smoker, meaning I di smoke but no longer. Smoke free since 2/27/91. Was two packs a day at the time. Have no issues with people who smoke. It is a your choice not the govt.

I smoked for 25 years and my daughter asked me to quit and I dropped them and its been over 3.5 years and have not touched one . Its not that hard to quit you have to have a mind set . The first two weeks I was grumpy as hell but got over it . I had to stay busy so as not to think about it and once those first two weeks went past I have never thought about it again . I was smoking a pack of Winchester 100 little cigars a day . I am not happy with the 30 lbs of weight that came with it but working that down slowly . Nothing I ate or drank had any taste for a few months that was harder to deal with than anything . I dont care if someone is smoking around as long as its not a confined area .

This is evil but i laugh when i see the chantix commericals... They say it can cause thoughts of suicide.. All i can think is if i try to quit chewing i would more then likely kill someone lol

Reformed smoker here, and I do miss it. A cigarette and a cup of black coffee - better than sex.
I have smoked cigarettes, pipe and cigars. I quit all tobacco a bunch of years ago and feel better for it. If I ever hear an asteroid is headed our way, I'll head for the closest store and buy some.

I never have smoked and don't care for it either although I'm against total indoor bans as I feel it should be left up to the owners to decide if it's smoke free or not. If it's not smoke free then I just don't go there. Simple as that

Exactly my thinking. A lot of nonsmokers say their rights are infringed upon by bussiness's which allow smoking but its always been their right to NOT spend money in those establishments. Instead they want the government to legislate laws on places they wont frequent anyways, all in the name of bettering the world or some other bullshit reason.

Pardon the typos, coffee and a smoke in my own home while I still can.

I smoke. I enjoy it. It my right, and my choice. I hate people that have to comment on me smoking in public. I try to be courtious and not stand in doorways to bother other people, but I enjoy smoking and will continue to smoke. I refuse to go to a smoke free resturant or bar, cause obviously they don't want me there so they won't get my buisness.

Funny as it may seem, the same people get bent about the electric/water vapor cigarettes if someone uses one in public.

I get smart with people I was at Sears last sunday walking up to the store smoking a cig stepped off to the side to finish nowhere near door. Lady walking up to doors nowhere near me and made a commet about how nasty it was. I told her to STFU and if I wanted her GD opinion I would of asked her for it. I bet she thinks twice before opening her mouth the next time. Thats the problem with people to busy worrying about what everyone else is doing to realize how F'ed up there own life is.

I respect non smokers and always ask before smoking around them. So I expect the same repect from non smokers to keep there opinions to themself and let me live my life and they can live theres

The back entrance to our building is littered with cigarette butts, there has to be 50 to 100 each day. Building management even has the cigarette waste cans, but the smokers don’t always use them. Makes our building look like crap.

1baddlx you are looking at like 3.00 a pack for junk and up to 6.00 a pack for camel and such... I would still smoke if it wasn't for the cost. I was smoking atleast a pack of 3.30 pallmalls from ky a day. That's more than a grand a year.

Take from a person coming up on 21 years cold turkey. Dum Dum suckers and/or Jolly Ranchers can and will be your friend when the going gets tough. Second, Keep in your mind how far you have come and how hard it has been to this point. It does get easier. You can do it! :bigthumb

Keep up the good work. Focus on how far you have come. Don't lose site of how difficult those first few weeks were, and continue to take it one day at a time, or even one hour if need be. My fourth attempt has been successful for 21 years 2/27/2012. I never used the word quit until I was well past my fifth year. i still refer to myself as a reforming/reformed smoker this day. :bigthumb
