Watched this on TV tonight,, not rubbin it's racing ! Gotta love a good racing movie !!

Thats based on Rick Hendricks and Harry Hyde with driver Tim Richmond. Loosly based, it is a movie. Not a bad one. Not stupid like "stroker Ace". My favorite racing movie I guess is "Worlds Fastest Indian".

I actually learned to drive a stick by watching this movie. There's so many scenes of him banging gears, that's how i learned the concept of using the clutch.

I always liked the movie Greased Lightning, based on the true story of Wendel Scott. Another good one was Heart like a Wheel. The movie about Shirley Muldowney.

I saw Days of Thunder, it was okay, but would have enjoyed it more if someone other than Tom Cruise played the lead roll. Just never liked that guy after Top Gun.
