With all the cars I have I couldnt pass up the deal on another Mustang! I sold the coupe, and that free'd up some room and with all the parts I sold I was able to buy this one! The orange car is still here but its on hold for now to see what happens. This one is set up and ready for me to drop my drivetrain in and go. It had a yates headed motor in it before and was running 8.60's so I should be good to go! Here is some pics!

Thinking of ordering the 7531 box and the Cheetah SCS shifter this weekend. I still have a ways to go but Im hoping to be ready for the shoot out! May be running it on motor there till I can get some tuning done.

Ok, got a lot done over the weekend. Dropped off my driveshaft to B&T Shaft in Milford Saturday morning and picked it up today. Quick turn around and nice guys to talk to. I managed to throw together a cooling system but I am going to be changing that all out in the near future. Basically just to get it on the dyno and make sure the A/F is good and see what kind of power it makes. I will be calling Adam soon to let him work his magic on it! Should be running and driving this weekend! Can't wait!

Atleast to make sure its safe and to find out where the power is. I did tear the blower belt up though so a new one should be here tomorrow and I need to see what is going on with it too. Damn cars just piss me off anymore!

I havent really done much up to this week. I took it to Kilkare for the Night of Fire and made 1 decent pass! Went a 6.30@111 in the 1/8th and coasted through the 1/4 at 10.62@86. Pretty decent and I was happy! But hanging out with Raz and his turbo 85GT just made me want a turbo car. So instead of selling mine and buying one, I went with this!

Now I need some more answers! I have an Aeromotive eliminator pump and carb fuel pressure regulator. I will be switching a few things up.

Will the Eliminator pump be good for around 1500 hp fuel injected with a different regulator? I have looked at the Weldon 2035 and the Magnafuel 750. Which one would be best?

Also injector size? What would be best?

I have actually thought about running E85 as well. Any suggestions?

Go with a belt drive pump. Your only pulling half the amps on the car, you'll buy it once and be done. I bought a waterman cable drive setup that runs off the back of my oil pump, and runs to the hex drive waterman pump in the back under my fuel cell.

I also know that it is attached to the turbo itself as well and it will be hot, just not sure how much it will heat soak.

well went ahaead and ordered my engine managment and fuel system from Adam @ S&M motorsports

went with the Holley Dominator, package includes

ECU, harnesses, NTK o2 upgrade, 5bar map, boost control solenoids, and all other sensors including fuel pressure, oil pressure, IAT, CTS, and dome pressure.

for fuel i went with twim holley 1800efi Fuel pumps and regulator

we will run 2 1800s in parallel, each pump has 2 stages so we will run only half of 1 of them when cruising, then kick in the other 3 stages with boost. They are meant for constant duty, are e85 safe and I can stage them. The Holley system can also be setup to shut down if fuel pressure doesnt meet a certain requirement under a set parameter. for instace if the system doesnt see 50 psi fuel pressure @ 5 psi boost and so on it will automatically shut down. basically a fail safe for if one pump were to fail

adams installing the whole holley efi system, crank trigger etc probably a 7 series msd box. installing the dual holley fuel pumps and making needed plumbing changes in the engine bay. doing all the vacuum hose in black hardline pushlock tubing. clean up the wiring a little and just button it up in general
