I'm getting ready to put new wheels on my girl's 2012 focus, so I was wondering do I need to get new sensors or can I just get the reset tool and use the stock sensors on the new wheels?

Thanks

Stock sensors may or may not work based on the wheels.

Save the hassle of tpms and do this

depends on how the sensor sits on the inside of the rim. may need some double sided tape to take up any gap. You can't have them bouncing around in there. Also you can use the stock sensors just fine. You may or may not have to reset them if you keep them at the same wheel.

You can use your factory sensors.

It depends on type of wheel wether or not u can use the factory sensor..they also make a band that factory sensor will snap into if they won't bolt up to the style of wheel u have.

those sensors are just one more thing to cost money. Wish they would stop adding all the crap to our cars..... anoying.
