I'm contemplating trading my auto setup and going back to a 5spd. What I have is a Greg Hughes built c4 with all the good internals, rev man valve body, hurst pistol grip qtr stk and redneck 3400 converter. Im looking to see if anyone has a good 3550 or Gforce t5 setup they'd wanna trade. Everything is still in my turbo car now and u can drive it responsibly before a deal is worked out. Call or txt 7409416497.

I know the tranny is good for 600+ the converter is the weaklink. I was gonna have Alan go thru it and beef it up.

That is exactly what I was thinking. As long as that converter is a billet cover unit I can install a 22 element assembly that will make it stronger than the c4. If it is a race only application we could do spragless for less. Spragless with a few other mods will make it virtually indestructible, that does require that it is a billet cover. If it is a stock gm fwd cover with 4 pads welded on it then throw it away. Every redneck unit I have seen so far have the sonnax billet cover.
