Probly another one of his shitty hoods and horrible customer service. Dude a ripoff. You want to buy a hood, you head over and see Todd at Boss Inc. Hoods. Those are high quality hoods.

Exactly. You can even pick them up where they are made. There is a reason Ford uses them!

I can't believe that 12 years later that people are still buying those fucked up hoods from them. There is a reason they are half the price of a quality hood. Geeze. It amazes me everytime i hear one of these stories. I hope you didn't pay too much for it.

I seen the ad on craigslist about these great hoods, most likely from the OP. I have never heard anything but bad stuff about Liberty fiberglass or whatever name they are going by right now. Although I have seen a Boss hood a buddy bought years ago and like the guy a few posts above said it was a very nice hood.

I have painted several different brands of fiberglass hoods from cervini to liberty.. Bottom line is you get what ya pay for. H O fibertrends and cervini are the nicest hoods that i have painted and fitted. I will be putting a H O hood on my 06 this year.

Steeda runs Boss holds on there track cars. And they are made over in Montgomery, so they can be picked up locally. I have a H.O. fibertrends decklid on my coupe. It fits great.

well heres what happen since i didnt post to in depth what he did. i have bought a couple hoods from him and they were okay. so the last one i bought i intended to use but didnt end up using it and got rid of it in a trade with a guy and he came to me with pictures of it on his car and you can litterally see his valve covers through the gap were it is bowed out. the guy said he would replace it and when we were suppose to meet he just ignored my phone calls. so im not going to just screw the guy that got it off me so i got stuck giving him money to buy another hood. o well leson learned for me and i made the guy happy who got it from me.

No, not exactly. champion is Doug. He is a good guy. They do business together and sell each others hoods if they don't have what you need in stock.
Look guys its as simple as this you get what you pay for. If you want to save money and don't mind taking the extra steps to make the cheap hood work than these hoods are great but if you want to scuff and paint you need to spend a few more hundred.

You get what you pay for.
I got a cincy composites hood for my old car, I picked it out @ the warehouse in carthage from a stack for $150. After 2.5 hrs filling, shaping and blocking I had it on the car. I saved more than enough money to justify my labor. I later sold it when i switched to a shinoda graphics package on the car- the guy who purchased it for 250 from me bragged about how nice of a hood it was and swore up and down it was a cervinis or HO- I told him it wasn't but he wasnt convinced. The hood was on my 4 season daily driven car for 4 years problem free.
Don't buy a CZ expecting a real diamond.
