Speedo bouncing

Is there anything that can fixing the speedo from bouncing? I have had about 10 foxbodies over the years and every one I have had has done it.

what year? Most are electronic and the problem is usually in the cluster but you can try replacing the sensor. If you are using a 23 tooth gear you'll never stop it that gear doesn't belong in there. If you have a cable operated one then make sure the cable is not in any hard angles.

Mine did it for years. I replaced the cable and all was good. Now I run and electric speedo and threw the damn cable away.

This one is a completly stock 89 GT automatic with 101,xxx miles.
