I heard about this about 4+ years ago and people thought I was crazy, I never knew what to search for to show them.

I read once that dyno time is crazy expensive in Europe so most people use a tail pipe wide band and a laptop to make tuning adjustments, so when you go to get a car tuned that's what you get...the tuner takes your car out and drives it and tunes it as he goes.

Running on 1 cylinder with a broken rod, no oil and a blown head gasket. Still ran 9's and got 97.2 MPG! :lol:
