Yeah I know I'm crazy but giving serious consideration to stock piling a big pile of cash and buying some guns. If anyone is interested let me know. Just a reminder it is 1993 roller right now but the t56 is still in it. I have a brand new 427 dart iron eagle motor that is still waiting for the heads to get back from BES. I still also have my 347 short block sitting here as well. Once the heads get done they are going on the engine and the engine finished assembled. I will sell it all together or sell tranny/engine/car separate or as combo how ever you like. If there is any interest pm me and I will give details and pricing. Yes I know I know I've said this before:D

You've been listening to too much Glenn Beck lately or something?

Actually haven't heard one of his shows in a while, but just thinking that it may not be a bad idea to have some liquid cash tucked away just in case:D But then again if I get a big enough pile of cash those '13 Cobras look pretty nice

Don't feel bad. After taking my '88 off the market I am sure after today it will be back on...I am just going to wait until I have it back as a runner. Wife did a nice 360 then a 180 in the snow this morning with the SSP, which quickly lead to it being parked for the winter and us buying a Cherokee.
GLWS...if I had the money and space I would love to have it.

Ron has told me about this many times lately mustangboy! I've been tempted to run out and take this roller off your hands but by the time I got the thing running "even mild mid 11 second - 12 second range"...i'd have too much in it without possibly losing my ass if I got bored & wanted to sell. Most people with extra income are buying toys twice+ the $10-15K price range and the masses that would give their left arm for it don't have $2500 in their bank. Still very tempting with it being such a nice car I hear. I start figuring realistic costs for different simple combinations and hit the total on the calculator plus throw the old insurance policy on the car...I talk myself out pretty quickly. Its funny you mention guns...I've spent thousands on various guns in the past 3 months. I've never lost a penny on any firearms I've owned in over 20 years. Do you still have the 347 for it to drop back in & make turn key? Ifso and you would want to shoot me a pm with turn key bottom dollar cash price, let me know, I don't have much extra time to even drop a motor in or put something together. Im serious you may twist my arm, I sold a little airplane back in august & have been just kind of waiting for something to come my way worth playing with this summer.

thanks kenny! Not trying to tire kick you...like i said, almost called you a couple times past week or two and was going to run out to tims with ron since its not far away but...don't want to waste anyone's time. i have enough cash to buy turn key and don't expect to steal something from anyone, just know the routine if I did want to sell a year or two later & deal with everybody wanting to steal it from me etc...selling anything for what its supposed to be worth these days is just not like it was 5-8 years ago...its a pain in the butt...im sure you have experienced. let me know, may twist my arm.

Funny I was thinking the same thing about collecting a few more guns and a pile of ammo. Ive been watching to many post- apocalyptic movies. Never can be to carefull. If we were smart we though, we would get a bunch of guys on stangbangerz to go in on an abanded missle silo for shelter. lol.

The car finally made its way to L'ville today. New owner bought the t56 as well so everything is gone with the exception of some of the 427 parts.
