Cowl hood opinions...

I'm gonna get a new hood for the short bus this winter. I want the "new style cowl" hood like what Harwood makes. I had a 4" on my 93 coupe, and LOVED IT! The short bus is a GT, so what would you guys get, a 4" or a 6"? I will be driving it most of the time, weekend warrior for the gf. Lets hear some opinions, and maybe some pics posted up too?

Personally I would go with the 4" if it is going to be your DD or drove on the street a lot. 6" hoods look good on race cars, but personally I think they look funny on a street car.

I love the look of a big nasty cowl hood but man i think i would go with a 4in... The 6in is a whole lotta hood to try to look over in traffic...

I have the harwood 6 inch and I hate it. Id much rather take a 3 or 4 inch HO Fibertrends hood anyday. I just can't get away with it on mine.

I'd also go with something from HO Fibertrends. Reasonably priced, and it fit like a glove on my 94 after moving the mounting a little.

or if you want something diff i have a boss 2000 cobra r hood for a 87-93,they are about 3in tall

I've always wanted to build a 2.5 or 3 inch extended cowl like that. I think it would be pretty cool and different. Still race car looking but street friendly.
