A LOT of people are too broke to buy tires, when the white death hits it will get ugly.

I dont take tires lightly, I replace em at 50% or so, not worth it...

I replace them at around 3/32", before the tread bars show or if the get even the least bit dicey in the rain.

7 months and 45k miles on the current set of cheap tires. If I had another set of rims I get new tires on them and put on the car, same the current ones for spring.

Tire Rack doesn't have any steel wheels for my car (Honda Accord) or else I'd have a set of winter tires on it already.

I always noticed others tires when I'm making vet pickups. One car yesterday all four we literally bald.
