it comes with a "correct" motor and 4 speed... the red 68 j code for 16,900 by the same people seems kind of steep as well

$30k for a shell...WOWHoly shittski!

A good friend of mine found a real-life barnfind of a 1970 Boss 302 about 7-8 years ago.

It was a real basket case, but everything was there and it was not all ate up, roted or a POS. Believe it or not, he paid $5,000 for it.

Now waiting for him to retire to get time to restore it. I'll post pics of it whenever he gets to it.

Good luck trying to get the guy to meet with you to look at the car. I tried to buy three bosses and two mach 1's. He always had an excuse why he couldn't meet or he didn't answer his phone the day meet planned on meeting.

Looks like the undercarriage is actually pretty clean with solid looking torque boxes. But we all know how pics can be. Personally speaking, you would have to want this car like no other at the price. Just for yourself and not to for resale. The economy is still low and all those cars that you see sell for big bucks on the TV auctions are all restored with correct parts and pieces. And pieces for these cars (actually any '69 or '70 Mustang) are rather pricey. At least he says that he has a true Boss engine and trans. If you were wanting a project real Boss to put back together you should contact 2007ShelbyCobra and inquire about the car that his dad has.

I blasted a few trans cases for glenn last year, he is hard to get ahold of. He has been sniffing fumes to expect 30k for an unrestored roller. The bottom fell out of the boss and yenko market earlier this year-suddenly the stock market is a good place to put money again.

Go to columbus and for a few more dollars buy a completed car from bosscars.com

We went to an open house at bosscars a few years ago. I was like a kid in a candy store the cheapest ride in the place was an early pantara. They had several boss 9's and Shelby's.
