according to the artcle he had a cage but it was not NHRA certified.

It said he had a roll bar not a cage.

A roll bar, probably 6 or 8 points and his helmet came off ? I wonder if he even had the strap on or was it just a bucket sitting on a pumpkin ?

All the years I had 11 second cars and never caged, things can go bad at any speeds.... if your racin it... cage it... if I ever do another faster Mustang, it will have a cage.. sleeper effect not worth it...

He said it was strapped but he bought it too loose because the other one would fold his ears over and bother him. :rolleyes:
