1988 Mustang LX Project Car

I am just tossing this out there. It is my solid '88 LX in the projects section. http://www.stangbangerz.com/forums/showthread.php?t=69763 I am only selling as I may purchase a SSP from a buddy of mine.

The car is currently sitting with the engine and trans removed, the front k-member removed, and all the front body panels removed. Car is very solid and the only rust of concern is the rear hatch...but I will include a rust free hatch I bought for her. Car will include the original engine, trans, and 3 core radiator...plus all the stock front suspension items. Car has approx. 195k miles but ran great for the 2 hour ride home when I purchased it...which was the only time I drove it. Only thing it really needed at the time was new brakes and shocks/struts.

As she sits the price would be $1800 FIRM...I will help with putting the front suspension on to get it on your trailer or tow truck.

These pics make the paint look much better than it does...just FYI.

Looks like I am getting the SSP anyway, but I will leave this up as I know it will be on the back burner for the next 6 months.

I will sell without, but I would need $1500 as they have 191k miles and not worth much by themselves. If you would not need the front seats and bring your own wheels, I will drop it down to $1250...but that would be the bottom dollar.

Just FYI for any interested buyers, I am not going to part anything out. If someone wishes to buy just the roller I will be keeping the engine and trans for a later project.

Thanks...I am going to let fastford1996 look at it Saturday. If he does not buy it I will probably go ahead and keep it. After being in the garage today with the new '91 SSP I have more modivation to get this one done.

That is probably what I will do. Now that I have the SSP to restore this will become my DD when it is done. So now I am not sure what direction I will take with this car.

I am going to let fastford1996 decide if he wants it or not. He came and looked at it on Saturday. If he does not want it, I will finish it and make a DD out of it.
