my 10 year old wants something she can play angry birds on of her own.

wouldn't mind being able to do books and stuff too. I don't want something that has to be rooted or hacked or anything.

I don't have a clue about any of these things. Anyone with insight..

Used iPod touch. The cheap Android tablets that are advertised all over run 1.6 and don't have the app store without hacking them

the nook and kindle fire both look good. the comparison gives the nook a little edge

Dell Streak 7" is $169 at Best Buy I believe
