I don't think i've ever seen a throttle stick open like this. I bet the guy was pissing his pants. Makes me wanna install a kill switch on the interior.

I'd say it probably did have a kill switch on the back, but that might not do any good in a situation like that where the car is spinning out all over the place.

He was knocked out, on the first hit.

Just glad it stayed put, instead of heading back toward the starting line!

I would also add, that he has one hell of an engine builder, for that thing to run as long as it did!

I'm still confused how it stayed in one spot...all i can figure is when it hit the left wall it cocked the wheel inward and then did the same thing to the right wheel when it hit the right wall, but still i can't see how it didn't creep forward with it wide open like that.

the throttle cable was wrapped around the master cylinder or something weird like that.

THATS CRAZY, I HAD A FRIEND THAT HIS STUCK WIDE OPEN AND THE CAR WAS GOING SIDEWAYS AND HE SHUT THE KEY OF THEN IT WAS DOWN THRU THE WOODS TOTALED THE CAR BUT HE WAS OK.

I seen a vette at edgewater hit the wall and flip like 20 times and his gas was stuck on. This was like 10 years ago. He walked away with a broke nose and a black eye and it ripped his left racing shoe off his foot. Scary shit rigt there.

I remember that wreck. I was on the pit side at half track. Scary wreck for sure.
