New Camaro Eats Wall @ Edgewater 11/19/11

Does anyone know the story behind this? I heard it was his wife's car. I went to the bathroom during the wreck, He went from right lane to Left wall hard.

Track was real crappy Saturday, I have never seen so many almost crashes. My car danced around at the top end on one run. I'm surprised their weren't more wrecks. Actually I have only seen one wreck since I started going to the local tracks '90 in the Tri-State area. :(

From what I heard it was a guy from Columbus and that's his daily driver. His screename on most boards is AtomicFusion. His racecar, which is also very streetworthy, is a twin turbo C6 vette that runs 7.90's. He runs around with Koolrayz who has a really sharp silver transam that is also a street car that runs 8.0's-8.20's if i recall. I know they're both on columbusracing. Just what I heard though!!

That would be Marks Wifes car, He races that Metallic Orange Z with the giant IPS sticker down the side. They just finished the twin turbo build on the car not more than a week ago.

The guy crashed right in front of where my car was in the pits. As far a I can remember the guy launched (I don't remember what lane he started in) but he started to get loose at about the 330' mark and got severely out of shape, then he tried to correct and struck the right barrier wall and then did a complete 360 right in the middle of the track. It was just good the guy didn't get hurt.

My car was parked right at the point were he hit the right wall. He started in the right lane and ended up in the left facing down track. Got a picture of him carrying the parts that broke off back to the trailer. Don't want to be him.

Everybody was ok.It happened right in front of us.They had my uncle drag it off the track with his rollback.

Good luck doing that after all these posts/pictures. I never met the guy, but now I know where he lives, he has a wife, what else he drives, how he wrecked the car, and what color underwear he was wearing when he did it lol. He's screwed.

I heard he had a half shaft snap and the car pulled hard to the side. They can keep their IRS. that is a real bad feeling. Hope he can get the car repaired without a lot of drama.
