I have personally had a few people make comments about my truck for silly such things, never to that extent but along the lines of insulting.
I usually just criticize the POS they drive and then I tell them I need such a big truck for when I deliver their heavy mobile home to them.

Never heard anything intelligent come out of a prius drivers mouth about whats good for everyone. I'm sure all those batteries in their car that will eventually die wwill be great for the environment when their sitting in a landfill somewhere.
diesel is far less harmful to the environment than gasoline.

I would have gone nuts before my wife. I don't curse in front of my kids (accidents happen but rare) and try not to curse at all just to get me out of the habit. Nothing annoys me more than a young child with a foul mouth and only the parents are to blame. I found you just have to teach by example.

I am married so that automatically qualifies me for 1 and 3 and makes 2 the easy way to deal with it...all you are left with are mostly 16-22 yr olds. They are fun to argue with because they are just young enough to know everything.
