Mustang GT chassis for sale [Archive]

I have back up for sale do to a fall through on the last deal. It's a 1985 Convertible, has 8-point roll cage, subframe connectors, welded torque boxes, Cervini's cowl intuction hood w/ hood pins, 5-lug conversation up front, racing seat w/ aluminum brackets, rear battery set up w/ charging post and on/off switch. This is basicly a chassis, it has no rear end, no brake booster as it had a manual brake kit on it, no fuel tank, I have 1/2" fuel line for it but not mounted. This is a great start for a street/ strip car, no rusted out body panels.

Forgot to mention that it has a clear Ohio title.
Has a crack in the windshield and will need a new top, those IMO are the only concerns to the chassis.

Car now has a 7.5" Posi rear end w/ 3.73 ring and pinion. Brand new brakes on it as well.
I have wheels to roll this on to a trailer for you to transport but they do not go with the car.

This is just a rolling chassis, you will need a drive train, cooling system, ignition and fuel system.
It now has a 7.5" posi rear end w/ 3.73's, brand new brakes and after market control arms.

there about like a gm 10bolt. Ive seen some run high 11s thru an auto and live and ive seen some scatter on the first pass with a stock motor and a 5spd.

Hey Shane- I just wanted to chime in. My '87 Cougar with a 5.0 HO crate motor with a Dirtydog built AOD transmission/ 3200rpm stall has made many passes at the strip. I have not had any problems with my 7.5" with 3.73 gears/ stock axles/ FRPP Trak-Lok- Automatic transmission. Hope that helps some folks about the 7.5" rear!

Thanks guys, really motivated to move this car, need the space in the garage.
I have had good luck w/ this rear end, I put the posi unit and ring & pinion in it and it has held up to a 306 and a 5-speed trans.

Final chance, I will take $995.00 to move it, if I do not sell this in a couple of weeks or so I am going scrap it.

Gauging interest on the car components like the 4" Cervini's bolt on cowl hood, good front fenders, black dash, roll cage if you want to cut it out, reinforced rear control arms, steering column, manual brake adapter, 5-lug front brakes, front clip w/ headlights, rear bumper cover, deck lid, tank straps, fuel door, race seat, drive shaft safety loop, power doors, 7.5 rear end w/ 3.73 posi and maybe more.

If I do not get anyone to buy this chassis I will start selling these pieces off of it, let me know what you may be interested in.
