Unfortunately this is true. I talked to Jason early this morning and someone went right up in Jasons driveway around 4:30am and stole his truck and it has not been seen since. It's a dark blue 2001 f250 4x4 ext cab with a long bed. There's not many ext. cab long bed trucks out there like this. If you see this truck pictured above, please follow it and call the police immediately. I don't know if Jason wants his phone number out on the open forum so if anyone knows anything please contact him on here or you can reach me at 513-571-5798 and I'll put you in contact with him. This truck was stolen from the colerain area. Thanks SBZ!!!

I live in colerain and Ill keep my eye out. What Part of Colerain?

Also, that truck has PATS KEYS. Some one has to have a ignition key that has been coded to the vehicle for it to even start.

Also would help if we had plates to go off of.

It's a '01...pre '07 powerstrokes don't have PATS key systems from what I was told so they can be stolen in minutes with a screwdriver. I hope it is found in 1 piece still....but I'm afraid it's in parts or on it's way to mexico already.

Any other distinguishing features?

I wouldn't think that the tags would still be on it, but decals, dents, rust, anything else...

I can say that if you are not from around the Colerain area, its not easy to find the High school. So it is some one local.

Any other disinguishing features about the truck would be great.
And after I posted that I remembered that the older PSD trucks do not have PATS keys.

The criminals out there are ballsy too. Had a buddy and his wife who got their cars gotten into on dry ridge. And then stole their neighbors car. Good luck Mr Jason.

The big thing here in columbus, is batteries. I had a cousins business that they stole all the batteries out of there shop trucks, along with other companies in the area, and stole one of his trucks to put all the batteries and other stuff in. There need to be something changed at these battery places giving people money for cores when they are not buying anything new. Just my 2 cents, and I will keep my eye out here in Cbus.

Where did they recover the truck at?

On my way home the day after this was posted there was a dark colored truck backwards in a deep ditch on Rt 32 down here by me... wasnt sure if that was it. State patrol and a flatbed were tryin to get it out.
