picked up my winter beater

1998 contour svt. 132,000 miles. Has a few small issues but seems to run nice. Inside is nice. The body has an issue with just about every panel.... Just the way I like it. lol No parking a mile away from the intrance of the store and hoping when I get back the car wont have a ding or scratch. I will be using the poopy plunger on it to pull a few dents and a few other things. Ohh well heres the beater. Need two rear tires if any one has any 16 inch tires laying around.

On craigs list. Been messing with the owner for weeks trying to get him to meet with me so I could go buy it. Have a huge folder with all sorts of papers and maint stuff.

yup. I banged out a dent so now I am down to the one on the door I cant get to... lol so I figure I will wash it and buff the mccrap out of it... lol I dont know whyy but I guess it cant hurt. The paint on this thing it mcshot... lol

no. has the contour svt duratec. Got it from a guy in kenwood that had it since 07.

mine did!!!! thats mine. it was an 07 escape motor. first of its kind to swap a newer motor in :D

yea it ran and drive but the ball joints and tie rods were bad and when i kicked it for the first time, it went bad and shot the axel out of the tranny. At that point i was done with it lol and i sold it.

i think thats a 98.5 they switched rims halfway through the first year of production if i remeber correctly.

These are great cars. I drove a Silver Frost one for 7 years. I did a T3/T4 turbo kit on mine. It made 298 fwhp. I sold mine to Brian Emory from Beavercreek, who quickly started to destroy it. I sold it and bought the Saleen. The alternator is the biggest PITA. They have good pwer from the 2.5 Duratec, and handle like a go cart. Nice buy, you will like it. I would love to have another one as a DD.

Just got the exhaust done. The previous owner hacked it all up. Had more leaks and tape than pipe. The imrc sticks shut some times and I need to get a water pump on it but its a nice feeling car and def a fun dd.
