Want to see what you all would do....
As of no i have a 349 dart block, N/A i make 452 to the wheels. Car has Fox-Lake stage two TW heads and R-box intake Comp @ 9.5:1 or close to. Face plated TKO2 with 373 gears And lets just say the car run 11.0 or better now.
Problem= i have a prob street fighter rotating kit. It's only good to 600 HP up to 6000RPM. Another problem is paying 80$ to have my nitrous bottle filled everytime i go to the track (15lb bottle)
My Idea= Prob Pro series rotating kit, 12-13:1 comp, with solid Cam, rotate motor up to 7500-8000 RPM, install 430-453 gear with a 28'' tall tire, also run E-85 fuel, And remove the NOS.
MY math puts the HP possibilities at 500HP+/- And a gain of .3-.4 in the 1/4 just from the Gear and tires. and another .2-.3 tenths from the HP gain... I dont see any reason i couldnt run low 10s, high 9s on N/A granted that would be slowing the car down from the NOS but it would be cheaper to run the car and thats still ok for a street car.....

What you all think?

Agreed^^^^^^
The combination change makes sense. Once you do that you will throw the NOS back on there and run low 9's, it's all in the chain of events.

I've seen ya shift it...it'd pick up half a second just switching it to an auto. Get ya a better rotating ass. and keep it 9.5:1 and throw a turbo on it. Go low 9's high 8's, still street drive it, and no bottle fills.

Don't really want an auto, it's not as fun to drive.

GUT the Hell out of the car also!

I like full interior cars I don't want to gut it completely

Couple of questions about your combo Dave. What's the exhaust side consist of? What cam is in it now? Is swapping the intake to a carb style EFI an option (like a Vic Jr or Super Vic EFI) with a sheet metal elbow a possibility?

No no no, a Super Vic EFI is a carb style intake aka no plenum. It has injector bungs machiened in and accepts a varity of elbows to adapt throttle bodies to. 6061.com has a nice sheet aluminum one specifically for the Super Vic EFI in a Mustang with a 90mm.

What size are the primaries on those headers?
