hello i am looking into "building" the rear end in my lx foxbody. my car used to be a 4 cylinder auto and is now a 302 5speed. but it still has the 4 cylinder 2.73 gears in it. but i have a lot of questions about this and was hoping to get some help.
1. what size is my rear end? Stock 4cylinder rear end.
2. i am also looking into doing a 5 lug swap and a rear disk swap, so would a 94-96 rear end fit under my car?
3. or would it be better for my to find an empty 8.8 and build from that?
anyways any help would be great and would be very appreciated. Thanks for any help. :

1. it is a 7.5 and probably has 3.73 gears.
2. see answer to 3
3. replace it, the turbocoupe diffs are nice because they have disk brakes. I wonder how the width on a v8 explorer axle would work but you would have to do some extensive welding to change the brackets over.

Correct me if im wrong, but wont the 94-95 GT rear axle fit on the foxbodys? Already disc and 5 lug, Maybe brakeline modification, but otherwise measurements and mounting are correct

That 8.8 will fit physically, but the axles are longer on each side. Depends on what wheels OP is running.

If you decide to build one from scratch I have a housing.

thanks for all of your input, but i think i have decided to go a different route. (suspention and/or engine) for now. i am interested in finding out how much you would part with that housing for though.
