I think this just came out today. Is it the first of its kind? Hopefully the price is reasonable.

No that concept has been around for several years now. FAST and Holley have their version and I think there are a few others as well.

ah ok, i see the holley avenger efi looks like it. does anyone know of a car that uses this setup? or is it just a specialty application?

nxcoupe is getting ready to put one of the Holley setups on an Mach 1 (1971 I think).

1970 Mach 1. Yep, got the kit in earlier this week, going to use a TFI distributor as well so the computer will control the timing. It's pretty cool in that it learns on it's own. You set the parameters and it uses the wideband to keep it where you want it. Pretty much a set it and forget it unit. I'll see how it works pretty soon.

Sounds like it gives you some benefits of efi without the hassles of all the wires and sensors. How much is a kit if you don't mind me asking.
