Thanks guys I can use both of them because you cannot put much back in those like the recovery tanks. I just need to be able to drain a vehicle and then put it back in without having to do much more than top it off. Tired of buying freon for motors swaps etc...
I will have to do my house soon too the outside unit failed right at the end of summer, time for a heat pump.

I don't think it really matters once purged I just like the idea of cylinders that are properly marked. R-12 is so old it isn't rusty is it? It probably would be the closest thing marked to evac my house which is r22.
