Trying to find a place that sells gravel here on the east side. Anyone know of a place thatll allow me to load up a truck bed full? Every place Ive looked at wants to deliver and wants an arm and a leg.

The new quarry on 276 will allow it but I think you have to pay for the whole ton.

Any idea the name of the place? Doubt the truck will hold a ton but its cheap enough usually. Found a place in Batavia that has it for 12 bucks a ton but Im not sure if theyll allow you to come pick it up or not. I know those kinda places make their money on their delivery charges.

I know it goes by ARCH I don't know what else to call it. ARCH agrigates maybe? I guess you are talking about kipps? He allows trucks too. You will have to sign a waiver that they are not responsible for damage, but that is normal just don't let them put more than about 3/4 of a ton in a 1/2 ton truck unless you have stiffened the suspension for it.. My wife said it is ARCH MATERIALS LLC

Yeah a ton is basically a cubic yard so if you fill up the back of a pickup truck you have about 3 tons and you'll be riding ont he stops with very little steering control. My flareside ranger takes about a ton with a heavy axle, oversized leafs and air shocks. If I get over that steering gets light. A ton is about the bed filled 2/3 up.

Thanks for the heads up. Its a older Chevy full size 4x4 so hopefully it'll hold a decent bit. I don't need a shit ton, just enough to fill a rut made by all the rain we had this year.
