Well, ill open the floor to insults... i dicked up my wiring on my nitrous kit and the damn window switch was fucked up... and when i turned the key BBOOOOMMMMM nitrous sprayed in when it started and it destroyed the intake. enjoy... im tearing the motor down tomorrow. expecting to see some bent valves. Im praying the rest of the motor is good.
The car will need a new hood i dont thing its salvagable. its pretty fucked from where the intake tried to leave the hood.

Put another upper on it, that may have been the only thing on the engine that was damaged. Trust me I had a bad N2O backfire and it hurt nothing past the upper. Worth a shot.

its hard to get a picture of the hood. it looks like someone took a ball pin hammer and hit it a few times. and its bowed out. it shot the largest piece of the intake about 20 feet from the car somehow... i dont give a shit about the motor the hoods what makes me sick to my stumach... :(

never tried to hook it up man. we are Dawson94 cobra was out side the car, and i know pieces flew the fuck outa there.

Also, I dont think anyone has any right to insult you. Live and learn.... and blow shit up. I have raised a hood while being behind the wheel a time or two myself. BUT since your blowing the thing up you think you could go ahead and let Ted sit in the back seat now...

hood is garbage... im getting a stocker from someone today that just needs to be painted. but i might end up going with a cowl.. it all depends on what i see tonight when i pull the heads off.

Why?? If the engine is hurt, it's hurt, won't matter if he throws an upper on it to see if it's ok.

Yep,I know some one who did this at the track with his 03 GT at the track.Some thing about wide open throttle switch and leaving from idle.Any way,he threw an intake back on the car and it started right up.
Might as well throw an intake on there and see what ya got. Or at the most have some one throw a boroscope down the spark plug hole and take a peek in there.

I think it's worth a shot to slap another intake on it and see before you tear it down Kev........ that does suck or blow I guess would be a better word for it... and I'd keep your original hood maybe you can straighten it out a little hammer and dolly work you might be o.k.

Fuck the motor the only thing I'm worried about is the heads. If the heads are Fucked Ima be pissed. Anyone got a tfs intake I can borrow for a few mins? And any really good body guys wanna take a look at the hood tonight?

"IF" is the magic word... if its not hurt and there is a chunk of intake in the head. it will then be more junk....lol
Dont fix a eff up with another eff up. If you do install and intake and it starts and runs good :bigthumb. If your willing to make it worse? its not even and educated guess?at least pull the plugs and check out as much a possable before starting it up...

Pull the plugs and if they all look fine and not smashed or anything...thrown an intake on it and fire it up. I'd about bet money that its fine other than the intake.

Rob I dunno if i trust you your moto was spray the miss out of it... Hahahaha I'm pulling the v/CS tonight and the intake all the plugs. There. Is probably pieces of the intake in the motor. Cause its esplooodid lol

Well i pull everything but the heads off tonight. i didnt have a breaker bar. but from what i saw none of the valves are destoryed on the intake. there was a vacume cap laying on top of one of the valves. :o tomorrow if i should be able to get the heads off of it.
