well this is kinda personal but im sure im not the only one on here thats been down this road, so im currently fighting for joint custody of my 5yo old bc his mom has been threating to keep him from me for absolutly no reason,i love my son very much and have been in his life the entire time and have no plans on NOT being apart of his life(hate dead beat dads) i have no background, only a few minor traffic tickets(lol go figure) and im looking for a good lawyer for this type of case in or around the dayton area.

Or if there are any lawyers on here that would like to take the case i have alot of mustang parts i would be willing to trade for also, any help on this would be greatly appreciated sbz, thanks.

I know you said local to Dayton but there's one in Chillicothe that's an absolute Beast and family law is her specialty. This is who I would use in your situation.

Good luck man! Custody battles suck.
I'll ask my dad which one he went to in Middletown for me and my brother.

I'm going through the same garbage right now man, it sucks... My ex is going one step further and saying that she will only let me have my kids if I pay her money....

Don't really have any recommendations for attorneys, but I'll sure pray for you. I cannot imagine losing time with my son. We would both be devastated!

Sorry to hear this man. I'd fight to the bitter end for my kids. Good luck to you!

thats why im trying to get to this step first bc she hasnt taken any legal action yet, just threats, so im gonna get a lawyer and get joint custody before she has a chance to do anything about it

yea that sounds like a great plan... I know the base price typically starts out at $1500.... I had a consultation with Harold Jarnicki Law Offices in Lebanon, Oh. and he was pretty adament about the fact that 100% shared custody = no child support obligation.

Of course that means, you have your kid every other week (7 days) and pay for all expenses for your kid while they are with you. The longer you can pull this off before the court date, the more likely it is to stick that way.

Best word of advice I can give you, is play nice, don't make any threats, and just act like a friend....until the court date, then tear her apart in court, and your life will be much much easier

I went thru some child support stuff and if you can find a woman lawyer she will help you the best yeah i know it sounds crazy but if you can get a woman on your side, you will win in court.....
