Was a great finish to the season at the World Finals!
Got a last minute invite to King of the Streets. I think overall it went well, we won't know til around march when the issue of 5.0 comes out.
I got hurt on the dyno portion. My tune was supposed to have tcs disabled. Unfortunately it wasn't completely disabled. But enough that the light wasn't flickering on the dash. I made 633 with the rear brakes on. You get 2 pulls, and after the 2nd, they notice my rear brakes were literally on fire! You only get 2 pulls though. Took last on the dyno portion, which is 25% of the score.
I did run the 2nd fastest e.t. though! For having less than a day to prepare I think the car did well!
Looking at the prelimary points for the season, it looks like i'm going to finish 9th overall, so a top ten finish. Very pleased there. I went out first round in Bowling Green, but that just gave me an opportunity to make a couple more hits for all out e.t.
I was rewarded with a 9.994 @ 142.39 mph! That was at 3905 lbs! Been a great season! Felt great to drive in my 9 second car to work today! Still grinning from ear to ear!
