So my gf is pulling out of the driveway this morning and sidswipes my stang... I didnt know until she gets back and says hey i might have hit your car today. Now I have been spending alot of money on this car lately!!! And then she says you can barely see it so i open the front door and im shocked at what she says is barely seen It has creases on the rear wheel well and the passenger door and pulled the molding off!!!??? she says oh well you needed it painted anyway... Her car does look worse than mine but still she is madder at me than i am at her wtf!!!! Yea i said a few things but she let me have it! WTF again!!

That sucks. I was at a walmart last week and saw someone turn their wheels and back out of a space and almost hit the side of the car next to them. I park away from everyone in the back so i can avoid this. You cant even feel safe in your own driveway.... Sorry man. I would have gone nuts on her too. My toys are in the garage and the wife and daughter dont even go in there so I dont kill someone for something stupid. lol

Sounds like text book example of downplaying a situation in hopes to be relieved of taking responsibility for one's actions. Hey its the 21st century. Either she can pony up and call her insurance agent and report the claim or open her wallet.

Had she come right in and said, "I hate to say this but I think I just side swiped your car and there is some damage. I am sorry. I know you have been working hard to fix it up. I will pay for any damage I created.", chances are there would have been no rant about this incident correct?

I know I would have been PO'd had I been in your shoes moreso for the response than the damage. The damage can be fixed. The response...well thats another issue and your call to make.

Not all females are tarded. Sometimes it happens the other way around. Like when someone scrubbed the shit out of my ground effects because he wasn't paying attention. Or totalled my WS6. My fault for letting him drive it though.

Of course, you can't control what she does when she drives into your car. Maybe give her a chance to come clean. Start out with, "I know tempers were flaring yesterday, but I was upset given that you know how important this car is to me, how much time and money I've put into it..." Perhaps offer up an example of something that is important to her.

If she still insists on acting like an ass...maybe you should re-evaluate the relationship. Do you really want to deal with that for the rest of your life? As someone mentioned already, marriage won't improve an attitude of irresponsibility or respect for others and their property.

Last January my wife slid our new 2011 mazda 3 into the back of my 06 F-150. The driveway was covered with snow but the kicker is she was going way to fast I was standing on my porch talking on the phone with my mom cause my grandpa was in the hospital because of lung cancer (BTW he passed a few days later) and I watched her drive up the driveway which is perfectly flat btw and when it came time to stop she slid it right into the back of my truck. Terrible week for me and she gets mad at me for bringing it up. She claims she was afraid to get stuck but that is bs the snow wasn't that deep and the driveway has no slope to it. It's still a sore subject. :doh:

It's only illegal if you get caught! lol and all I know is if it was my girl I'd rode her hard about doing it but in the end I would have paid for it i'm sure she would have offered and most likely even gotten mad if i paid for it myself. It's no different if she was doing something in the house and broke my tv or any other big ticket item..... it is what it is
