Hey all, I need some serious help and I'm hoping one of you can help me or at least point me in the right direction. I'm working on my 59 Cadillac and it's got a few dents that need to be removed and soon! In a nutshell, the car is the one from the movie Ghostbusters and a few of the actors from the movie will be in town in a little less than two months. I've been asked to provide the car for a photoshoot for when they're in town and right now the project has stalled because I'm needing some dent removal and a paint job.

I've talked to a repair body shops close by me and they're not willing to take it on because they consider it restoration work. If you can help me with this I'm willing to pay handsomely, if you know someone who can do this for me I would be very grateful!

It's actually the Ecto 1, but here's a picture of it as it looked last night:

I should probably add that where I store the car is also a shop where the body work and paint can be done at once. It's a little hard to move the car since it's just a rolling chassis and is 21' long, but if whoever can do the car wants it done at their place, I have a way, albeit expensive way to get it there.

There has to be a body man on here that wants to make some cash! Somebody please help this Army Captain out! He's a good guy (I work with him everyday as we are in the same unit). His car is in his shop in Maineville where he has quite a collection.

Unlike some people, he is not looking to trade paintball guns or other mustang parts for the body / paint work. He has cash money..yes the green stuff. I am the one that suggested he put something on here as he was calling different shops that claim they are too busy.

All help is greatly appreciated! He is running out of time.

Yes indeed, thank you for at least returning my call. Still haven't heard back from any of the other people that were referred to me yet!

I love doing that stuff.... I wish I had a shop to put that in. I'd take it on in a heartbeat. But I just can't do it in a driveway like my junk. Hopefully you find someone soon, that is one neat old rare piece of history.

Was there more than one made for the movie? I saw one completely done about two weeks ago on one of the morning shows out in Hollywood. It was there for the release of the 3D ghostbusters movie coming out soon.

That was the one from the first movie. They used a total of 3, two in the first movie and then they made a completely different one for the second movie.
