Alright guys I got my c4 swap done and my my starter is acting up. I tighten it up and it starts right up few starts later it is just grinding then the starter just spins. I can loosen it and push it up towards the flexplate and it starts right up. I have tried three different starters, brand new solenoid, new starter cable, both battery cables, brand new flexplate and bellhousing. To me it seems like the starter is sliding down a bit away from flexplate. I got an aftermarket block plate and have noticed the starter hole is bigger than the factory was. Could this be my problem since the plate lines up the starter?:confused:
