It seems to get alittle BLAH around here with nothing but argueing and dumb stuff .......... Figured i would start a thread about posting the pics of the cars/stangs you wish you would have never gotten rid of ......

Here is my 80 pinto ..

Love to drive it and the way people looked at me like

I miss my 89 GT. Wrecke it in 04. The car was pretty rotted out so there was no saving it. I also miss my '74 Plymouth Scamp. Didn't have the tools or know-how to fix the problems it had back then

I miss my first Mustang, it was an '88 GT, stock with all Mac exhaust. It was slow and rough, but i loved that car.

http://i229.photobucket.com/albums/ee275/EVIL85SSP/88MustangGT3.jpg

I miss my Merkur, but we had a rocky relationship. I'd like to own another one someday and build it up.

http://i229.photobucket.com/albums/ee275/EVIL85SSP/Merkur%20Pics%20and%20Videos/P4260037-1.jpg

And last i miss my old '80 Dodge Challenger. This car (if you don't know) was built off the Mitsubishi Galant platform from Japan. It was a 4 banger 5 speed RWD, and it was a blast to drive. It was one of those cars that wasn't very fast but it felt fast driving it. They're pretty rare cars too...i would take it for an oil change and they would always tell me there's no such thing as an '80 Challenger, it had to be an '80 Charger. Then i'd walk them out and show them and show them the owners manual and they'd scratch their heads.

Sadly i never did get a pic of mine but it looked exactly like this.

David, I had an 89GT that same color combo as the one you have pictured. I ended up changing the moulding stripe from red to black an changing the wheels to ponies.

Miss my 67 Cutlass (had 3 of them) and my 67 Chevelle. Love Foxbodied Mustangs but also love 65-67 GM cars.

I'd like to have my 99 Grand Prix GTP back, and 81 Capri that had the full black interior and dash, engine, suspension, tranny, bumpers, and hood from a low mile 93 GT. Pretty much the only thing that was still Capri was the flared quarter panels and fenders, and the roof of course, which a t-top. Pretty cool car.

craig, do you have any other pics of that car?

also- i miss my first(and only so far) mustang. 89 lx with a decently built 351w. made 349/384 to the wheels, and ran a best of 13.3 on 17in wheels with a 3.08. i think that is fairly impressive for my first build of a motor. it was ugly as crap, but it ran good.

I'll have to find a pic but I miss my 1970 Buick GS that had a 455 in it. It was a sweet car but I couldn't handle 8mpg at 17 working a job that paid 7 an hour. And winter sucked in it also.

I was talking about this very subject a couple days ago. I think the cars that I miss the most are my 70 Challenger R/T with a shaker and a 440 6pack, 4 spd and a 3.54 Dana rear. I also miss my 70 Road Runner 440+6 with an air grabber hood and a 4 speed and 4.10 dana rear. Also my 69 SS 396 Vert, it was rough but so much fun to cruise in. If I would have kept all three of these cars, excluding all the others I've had, I could have sold them all and retired to a beach somewhere. lol. I'll have to dig up some pics. Setty didn't I bring pics into school of these old cars?

Yeah !!.... We use to always talk about your mopar days. Shortly after school finished up i took part in a ground up resto of a 69 formula S Baracuda 383 4spd car. I always thought about our talks when i was helping with this car..

by the way... i keep getting shit because i am brain washed !!!! Because i always refer to you as Mr. Bell

I would be telling a lie if i didn't say my new project vert was influenced by your old vert back in the School days.

I used to have a thing for Dodge Daytona's. These are not pics of mine but they are identical to what I had colors and all. A 1984 Dodge Daytona Turbo Z (exactly like the one in the 80's show "Hunter"). and a 1989 Shelby Daytona w/ T-tops (this thing flat got it for a stock 4 bang). I miss them both.

I had a '82 Capri RS black w/black int. and Recaros. It was a t-top car was the only prob. I sold it to some guy from Kettering for $750 back in '04. It would easily bring $3k nowadays. I loved that car. Owned it 5 years, and never had one problem with it. The worst part is I dont even have one pic of it.

I share misses with David and Moody.

I had an 87 Merkur XR4Ti and that little thing was one of the most fun cars I've ever owned... when it ran right. I used to street race Camaro's and Mustangs light to light and really shock some guys!

After that I had two 71 Buick Skylarks. The first one was wrecked drag racing and the second I sold to get a 1965 LeSabre convertible. I'd love any of those three back as well.

The one I always wished I would have kept the most was my 78cj5. Had a 390 out of an amx and would flat smoke about anything at a stop light. Plus the exhaust was right about window level so I got to blow smoke in their face as I busted their ass off the line

Stock suspension stance with a set of rims and a locker in the stock 8.8 vs full blown moly caged mini tubbed loaded fab 9 strange brakes shocks struts wolf racecraft control arms g force g5r smoothed engine compartment shortened a arms alumastars to name a few. Believe it or not, even though it was a gas hog, I've been kinda missing my '03 Jeep Grand Cherokee...had the In-line V6 known for 200k+ miles, and it only had 120k when I sold it, plus I rear ended a girl in a brand new 2012 and when I got out to look at the damages, she needed a new truck, passenger side tail light, and a rear bumper...what was wrong with my Jeep??? Well look at the normal pics...they were taken the weekend after...all that was wrong was the grill cracked at the very bottom and was unnoticeable(Whoops )...needless to say they are TANKS lol...but when it comes down to it if I would've kept it I would've put as much money into it as I plan on doing to my Stang, and the gas mileage would've been ridiculous!
