Thats a good start... Keep this going. I think this shoud be a sticky and has to be your pics or pics of something you see at the track or under a semi on the highway. No pics pulled off the net.

I don't have any pics of car part carnage, but this is a pic of a shell case from a project rifle that I built. It's a 17hmr semi-auto, most 17hmr's are bolt action. Semi-auto 17's are commonly referred to as Kaboom's, because it's hard to make them sage and reliable. But after a lot of work, it is now safe and no longer does this sort of thing.

This is a cool thread.

This is my piston from my FZR400. I was on the back straight at Gingerman and it let go at 10,000 RPM. I'll look for the matching combustion chamber picture soon.

This was part of the result of a Turn 1 highside at Road Atlanta. In addition to fracturing my pelvic bone, I broke my heels, right elbow and ruptured my bladder.

The bike was fine, except for the fiberglass. I had to have fiberglass air shipped from Japan because there were no molds in the United States.

I have always had a project car and worked my butt off to always build.. This is the only thing that has ever put my life on the back burner...Two years ago a Driver fell asleep and crossed the center line running about 65... We all have recovered

Here is a driveshaft from a racecar @ Bowling Green on Saturday. He launched and the car didn't move. We talked to him later, he said the d/s was shortened 9".
