I agree with you, such a cool engine to be covered by wires and plastic. Did you see the Coyote that was put in to a '32 Ford highboy?

Rant to Ford:

Was it just dumb luck that the 03-04 Cobra's engine bays look so nice? The 05+ cars are just ugly underhood. GT500's step it up to being fugly underhood. I see these guys at car shows with stupid billet stuff stuck all over the engine bay of their GT500 and think "Man, that looks like crap." Crap- with billet pieces thrown on top that is. There are hoses and wires running every which way with all kinds of kinks and bends. Hell, they ran a hose right over the top of the blower. The fluid tanks are in odd places with extremely weird shapes. The battery screams "look at me!". No wonder they went with an engine cover on the 5.0's. Nobody at Ford can get everyone on the same page and make an engine bay that looks good "naked". These ARE Mustangs. People want to see the engine, not a bunch of wires and hoses and plastic covers.

Kudos to Ford for the newfound power, but a swift smack upside the head for what that power looks like when you pop the hood.

I'm sure it'll look nice. I really think the 03 Cobras engine bays were dumb luck. The Fox chassis had been around so long they'd tried damn near every combination of wiring locations, battery locations, overflow tank locations... they almost couldn't screw it up.

Had one already. It didn't mesh well with the cams and heads. Not sure why. Just didn't work well together.
