sorry for th delay in responce. I usually get an email telling me that someone has posted. Thanks cstreu1026 for filling him in.

The swap is relatively easy. The only thing is that you have to pull the engine to do it. Your looking at a full day to do it. 4.6l's are just as easy as the 5.0's just have to get used to the setup. In alot of ways it's easier.

It is easier with the engine out but you don't need to do it that way. Nxcoupe and I did the PI swap on my car with the engine in the car.

What did you do? Remove the motor mounts? I always just pulled the engine. It only takes about an hour and its out.

We just removed the top end...actaully the short block and motor mounts were the only thing left in the car since we did a clutch and long tubes at the same time. The only difficult part about doing it in the car (besides the headers) was properly tightening the TTY bolts from the head changing kit. With ARP hardware it would be a little simpler.

If you have access to a lift though removing the engine from the bottom would make it a piece of cake.
