How to edit a thread?

I am trying to edit my "project in progress", the first post, maybe update it and delete some things. I do not see where i can do this. any help?

You can't edit an old post after it's about 15 minutes old. This was done years ago to prevent certain people from editing their late-night drunken rants when they sobered up in the morning. :D

Those were the days. Did everyone go sober on us? Havent seen a good drunken rant in quite a while. I dont drink or I would get lit and start one up. lol
