head ques.

got a set of afr185's,i want to put on a 418ci windsor,my ques. is how much do you think they will breath decent enough to get decent performance out of this combo

418ci
4.100 4340 scatt crank
6.200 sysco forged rods
dished mahle forged pistons(9.7.1 64cc) the 185's are 60cc
74 block
balanced assembly
came choice is up in the air for now,blower motor later
when funds permit looking to go for afr205 or 225
hopeing for at least 400rwhp

if that motor dont make 400rwhp there is something wrong
how high do you plan on turn the rpms on this motor

I bigger cc head would be more ideal but the 185s should make the power you are after. An AFR 205 225 or victor Jr would probably be more suited with the 418cid you have. You allready know that. Give it a shot. I think it would make a great motor if you allready have the heads.

I posted in your wanted thread...if you didn't get that cam yet you can get my lifters and run any cam you want without getting a reduced base cam.
